How to Fix Driver Power State Failure in Windows 10/8/7

Step 3- Now click on Troubleshoot. Then again choose an Advanced option from the menu.

Step 4- Click on Startup settings. And then finally restart your PC.

Step 5- Using keyboard press the numeric key 4. This will make your PC enter Safe Mode.

Now once you have successfully reboot your PC then follow the further steps-

Step 6- Using keyboard press the Windows logo key and R simultaneously. This will open a Run command window.

Step 7- Now enter the command as msconfig. Click OK.

Step 8- Choose and click on Boot tab. Under Boot options now check the box Safe boot. Finally, click OK.

Step 9- Click on Restart and you will enter the Safe Mode.

2. Uninstall the Drivers

The next method that you can shot out is to try uninstalling the problematic drivers and then reinstalling it.

Step 1-On your keyboard hit the Windows logo key and R key simultaneously. This will invoke a Run command window.

Step 1- Right-click on the Start menu. Then select Device Manager.

Step 2. Now click to expand Network Adapters.

Step 3- Right-click at the Wireless Adapter. Now Select Properties.

Step 4- From the Power Management tab uncheck the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” option.

Step 5- Finally click OK. Restart your computer.

5. Update Display Adapter Drivers

If the issue of “Driver Power State Failure” has occurred after the installation of a Windows Update then installing the latest driver for your display adapter will be helpful. To begin with, follow the mentioned steps to solve your problem.

Step 1- Navigate to the Windows Control Panel.

Step 2- Then open Programs and features.

Step 3- Select and Uninstall the driver that is currently installed on your graphics card.
