So, in this section, I will show you how to write on a pdf using your Adobe Reader DC. Adobe Reader is a software which supports pdf document. Note that this method is specifically for the DC version of Adobe Reader. If you are using any other version, it may differ. If you have any other version of Adobe Reader on your PC, you can download and install the DC version from the Adobe Official Website. So, follow the steps mentioned below to write on a pdf document.

  • Firstly, open a pdf document in your Adobe Reader. You can do so through the Open option in the File section of the Menu bar.
  • Now click on Tools from the upper left corner of your screen.
  • Now click on the Pencil Icon (Fill & Sign) from the window.

  • Click on the Ab option to start writing words on your Document.
  • Click on the document where you want to add these text/words.
  • A box will open. You can type your words in it. You can even edit these texts or adjust their place.
  • Finally, click on Save option again from the File Menu.

How do you handwrite a PDF?

You can easily write handwritten comments, signatures, as well as other notes if you use a program like Adobe Acrobat. Simply open your PDF, open up the “Comment” sidebar on the PDF editor. It is typically on the right side. However, if you don’t see it go to File>Tools>Comment>Open.
