Best App Store Games of 2021 According to Apple

Apple has this week revealed what it thinks are the best App Store games of 2019. For its editors’ choices, the company has selected titles that have been the most popular and influenced trends.

Furthermore, Apple says its list focuses on games that it believes have a dedication to the craft of game development. As the App Store is a multi-platform storefront, Apple has named the best App Store games of 2019 from the following categories:

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Apple TV
  • Mac

Cupertino points out its chosen games all allow users to have fun and connect with other gamers.

“Developers around the world inspire us all with innovative apps that have the power to influence culture and change our lives, and this year that is as true as ever. The 2019 App Store Best Apps and Games winners reflect our global desire for connection, creativity and fun,” said Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing, in a statement.

Schiller says the company wanted to show the diversity of games available on the App Store.

“Great design and creativity come from developers large and small, and from every corner of the world. We congratulate all the winners and thank them for making 2019 the best year yet for the App Store.”
